Current News:

Our 2008 Sangiovese Wins Gold

Our first Sangiovese and we have won a Gold medal at the 2009 Winewise Small Winemakers Awards. Its has lovely fruit and soft, silky tannins. Naturally we're thrilled and are looking forward to a success with our 2009 as well.

HARVEST IS UPON US!

Another very warm year and everything is feeling it! The vines though are strong and clearly getting their roots down deeply into that decomposed granite material. So they are looking just great. We are just about to put the nets on to protect the fruit from those squadrons of invaders. We expect harvest to be a couple of weeks early this year - so start late February at this stage, but the final dates will depend upon the weather from now on as we are into the ripening phase.

RECENT RELEASEs

Our 2006 Christabel Sparkling Pinot Chardonnay and the luscious 2004 Adela Sparkling Cabernet are available at cellar door. This follows the great success of our 2004 Christabel.

The 2005 Cabernet Merlot has been released just before winter and is hitting its straps! Cellar door visitors have been impressed. It has big tannins and is definitely a wine to drink with meat dishes.

Our Pinot Chutney is now available at cellar door and has lovely characters - great with cheeses, with cold roast beef, or in a stew.
