Our 2008 Sangiovese Wins Gold
Our first Sangiovese and we have won a Gold medal at the 2009 Winewise Small Winemakers Awards. Its has lovely fruit and soft, silky tannins. Naturally we're thrilled and are looking forward to a success with our 2009 as well.
HARVEST HEADS UP!
Well, its all over for another year! Harvest is a particularly busy time - and very satisfying. The fruit came off in great condition. While there was a few big rain events, no damage was done to our grapes. We are again really excited about our Sangiovese and Temranillo - looking fabulous.
RECENT RELEASEs
Our 2006 Cabernet and 2008 Sangiovese are Gold medal winners and will be released 5 June 2010. The Cabernet is beautifully smooth, with firm tannins and good acid for storing away for a few years. It has earnt the tag of "Dorothy May" which is only given to the very best years of Cabernet Sauvignon. The Sangiovese is made from that world famous clone, Brunello and and is absolutely gorgeous.
The Adela Sparkling Cabernet is drinking beautifully and is just the thing when you want sparkles on a cool winter's day.
Try our Sparkling Pinot Juice - all natural and lovely characters.
Our Pinot Chutney and sauce from the 2010 vintage are available at cellar door and have lovely characters. The chutney is great with cheeses, with cold roast beef, or in a stew. The sauce has a touch of chilli and is fabulous with a barbeque or cold meats.
